Delighted to report that Malcolm and Simon arrived safely at Arbeia Roman Fort (the end of Hadrian's Cycleway) in South Shields just before 5pm on Tuesday 18 August - after only one morning of persistent rain, two torrential downpours and one puncture... Well done both of you!!
